Research and Teaching Facilities
The Department of Geography and Environmental Studies hosts a number of specialized research and teaching facilities, including several teaching labs in physical geography and in computer-aided mapping and analysis. The Department also hosts research centers and institutes covering the fields including geostrategy, spatial analysis, tourism and pilgrimage, and research dedicated to Haifa and Northern Israel. In addition, faculty members actively participate in numerous research centers throughout the University.
